Audrey Baker Boyd

Audrey Baker Boyd, 94, of the Nesmith community, passed away Friday, February 6, 2026, at her residence.

Audrey was born September 20, 1931, to Jessie Felma and Ruby Pearl Baker in Helicon. She loved her flowers and gardening. She was very energetic and loved to cook for her large family gatherings. She was a very kind, independent lady and devout Christian, always a friend to all she knew and met. Audrey loved her children with all her heart, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 12- 2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where her funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Burial will be a Nesmith Cemetery. Brother Steton Hayes will officiate.

Audrey is survived by her children, Rayford (Sherry) Boyd, Bobby (Joyce) Boyd, Karen Smith and Steve (Susan) Boyd; brothers and sisters, Betty Thompson, Jimmy (Faye) Baker, Dorothy Miller, Harold (Virginia) Baker, Raymond (Ladonna) Baker and Louise (Mike) Brown and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hulen Boyd; sons, Gary Boyd and Randel Boyd; parents, Jessie Felma and Ruby Pearl Baker and brother, Alford Baker.
