TUSCALOOSA - The Alabama Department of Transportation plans to resurface and place new traffic striping on U.S. Hwy. 278 from the junction of Chilcoat Road to east of the junction of County Road 3089 in Double Springs.
The 3.21-mile project is expected to begin the week of July 23 and finish this fall. All work will occur from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Motorists should expect possible delays and are encouraged to observe work-zone speed limits.
