FRANKLIN COUNTY - A two-vehicle crash Tuesday night, March 31, in Franklin County claimed the life of an elderly man.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, the two-vehicle crash happened at the intersection of Highway 243 and County Road 79 at approximately 8:15 p.m. The driver of a pick-up truck, Milton Alexander, 82, of Russellville, was killed. The driver of a car, a 25-year-old from Phil Campbell, was taken to Russellville Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
No further information is available at this time from ALEA, whose troopers are investigating the accident.
