NAUVOO - A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 11:29 a.m. Thursday, July 25, has claimed the life of a Nauvoo man.

WINSTON COUNTY - Alabama’s “hands-free” law, which largely prohibits holding a cell phone or other “wireless telecommunications device” or using one without hands-free technology while driving, went into full effect June 15, following a one-year grace period during violations resulted in warnings rather than citations.

BRILLIANT - A single-vehicle crash involving a pedestrian that occurred at approximately 3:45 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, has claimed the life of a Brilliant woman.

ADDISON - A two-vehicle crash at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, has claimed the life of an Addison woman.

ADDISON - A single-vehicle crash around 11 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3, has claimed the life of a Houston man.

WALKER COUNTY - A Nauvoo man was killed Tuesday morning, October 17, after being struck by a vehicle.

DELMAR - A two-vehicle crash Tuesday, Aug. 1, has claimed the life of a Lynn woman.

WINSTON COUNTY - Local fire departments will serve as a host site for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency's Marine Patrol to hold a boating basics/license course this spring.
