Glenn Lee Perry, 86, of Addison, entered into rest on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Glenn was born on April 29, 1934 in Cullman to John and Ruby Perry. He proudly served in the United States Army for two years. Glenn was a member of the Addison Town Council for 14 years, a charter member of the Addison Rescue Squad and a member of the Addison Volunteer Fire Department. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and an overall good man. Throughout his sickness, he fought the good fight and kept the faith.
His graveside service will be held on Monday, November 30, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery, Addison. Brother Tim Box will officiate. Nichols Funeral Home will direct.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty Perry; sons, Brian Perry and his wife Jill and Brandon Perry and Chastity; daughters, Diane Hadley and her husband Brad and Glenda Carpenter and her husband Michael; grandchildren, Nathan Hadley, Seth (Katty) Hadley, Lexi (Taylor) Cheatham, Kinsie (Woody) Lassauw, Brett Perry and Aaron Perry; great-granddaughter, Jude Hadley and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, John and Ruby Perry; mother and father-in-law, Tom and Ezella Darnell; son-in -law, Doyce Hill; six brothers and two sisters.
