Haleyville Public Library is open

HALEYVILLE - Haleyville Public Library’s librarian Carla Waldrep wants everyone to know that the library is open, and all precautions are being taken to keep library patrons and visitors safe from COVID-19.
Masks are required to enter the Haleyville Public Library, and all persons coming in have their temperature checked and are also provided with hand sanitizer.
The library’s computers are open for the public to use.  The screens, keyboards and mouse are covered in plastic wrap, which is changed after each use.  Also, all returned books are cleaned, disinfected and quarantined for 48 hours before being placed back on the shelves.
All tables, chairs and other surfaces at the library are disinfected after each use.
The Haleyville Public Library’s hours are currently Monday-Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m.  For more information, please call the library at (205) 486-7450.
