Lynn beats Brilliant 9-1

BRILLIANT - The Lynn Bears picked up where they left off earlier in the week in their battle on the baseball diamond against Brilliant, this time taking them down on the road 9-1.
The Bears got it going early in the first, with Chance Majors drawing a walk, later scoring.  Brandon Hill would also cross home plate in the first, giving Lynn the 2-0 lead.
Brilliant narrowed the Bears’ lead in the bottom of the third, making it 2-1.  The Bears pulled away beginning in the bottom of the sixth inning, with Hill and Majors both scoring again.  It was in the seventh inning stretch, however, where the Bears really put the game away, adding five runs, with Cale Tittle, Jon Linley, Hill, Jackson Baker and Lance Harris doing the honors, giving the Bears the 9-1 win.
Majors took the win for Lynn. He only surrendered one run on four hits over seven innings, striking out ten and walking one.
