WINSTON COUNTY - The Winston County Sheriff's Office, in conjunction with the Walker County Sheriff’s Office and the 25th Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office, is conducting an investigation into the death of Ricky Baughn Keeler.

NAUVOO - A major drug distributor for the Nauvoo area who has clientele in Winston County has been taken off the streets, thanks to a partnership between sheriffs offices in Winston and Walker counties.

DOUBLE SPRINGS - A man wanted in Walker County on rape and sexual abuse charges led multiple law enforcement agencies on a high speed chase before being apprehended in the Double Springs area early Sunday morning, Aug. 18.
