HALEYVILLE - The City of Haleyville has filed a complaint in Winston County Circuit Court against Yogi, LLC, owner of the property known as the Imperial Inn, which city officials say has become a nuisance and should be closed.

SMITH LAKE - Troopers in the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Marine Patrol Division today, Wednesday, Aug. 21, arrested Nick Bowling Suggs, 50, and Jodi Wallace Suggs, 50, both of Decatur, on criminally negligent homicide charges stemming from a fatal July 4, boat crash on Smith Lake.
