ARLEY - Meek Elementary School has been selected as one of only two schools in the entire state for a national honor under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act Distinguished School.

ARLEY - Arley Fire Chief James Rickett told Mayor Chris Tyree and the Arley Town Council at its Monday, Sept. 8, meeting that he will be retiring as chief at the start of next year but will continue to serve in the fire department. He thanked the council and mayor for their support over the years.
