Highway 13 wreck fatal
LYNN - A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 1:28 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, has claimed the life of a Winfield teen.
The 19-year-old was fatally injured when the 2012 Chevrolet Cruz he was driving crossed the center line and collided with a 2012 Freightliner, driven by Brandon Lindsey, 31, of Blakely, Ga. The 19-year-old was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Bear Creek man killed in wreck
MARION COUNTY - A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, has claimed the life of a Bear Creek man. Jeremy Poston, 49, was killed when the 1988 Jeep Wagoneer he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. Poston was pronounced deceased on scene. The crash occurred on Alabama 253 at the 19 mile-marker approximately 14 miles east of Hamilton. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
