Haleyville Airport runway to be repaved

HALEYVILLE - Flight plans for planes normally using the Haleyville Airport have been altered since the airport is closed for a runway restoration project.

No garbage pickup in Haleyville on Good Friday

HALEYVILLE - The Haleyville Street & Sanitation Department will be closed Friday, April 15, for Good Friday. Therefore, there will be no garbage pickup on that day.

Friday’s garbage routes will be collected Monday, April 18, along with the regular Monday route.

No garbage collection in Haleyville Monday

HALEYVILLE - The Haleyville Street & Sanitation Department will be closed Monday, Feb. 21, for President’s Day. Therefore, there will be no trash collection on that day.
Monday’s trash will be collected on Tuesday, Feb. 22, along with the regular Tuesday route.

Twin Forks Campground ends season with increase in revenue

BEAR CREEK - Campsite deposits at Twin Forks Campgrounds in Bear Creek have increased over $30,000 from the previous year.

All area public libraries closed until further notice
