Sibley crowned 2023 Leo's Loveliest

HALEYVILLE - Audrey Sibley was crowned the senior division Leo's Loveliest for 2023 Saturday, February 25, during the 46th annual beauty walk.  First alternate was Allie Bishop.  Second alternate was Kirsten Stevens.  Third alternate was Shamekia Desiderio and fourth alternate was Hadley Smith.

HALEYVILLE - Payden Elizabeth Trallo was crowned Leo's Loveliest for the junior division of the beauty walk Friday, Feb. 24, at the Haleyville Elementary School cafetorium.

Addison Lady Bulldogs and Meek Tigers to play Saturday in Northwest Regionals; Haleyville's game moved to Monday

HANCEVILLE - After having their games postponed Thursday, Feb. 16, due to the threat of severe weather, the Addison Lady Bulldogs and the Meek Tigers will take to the court Saturday, Feb. 18, to compete at the Northwest Regionals on the campus of Wallace State Community College in Hanceville.

HALEYVILLE - Issues ranging from education, healthcare, infrastructure and broadband that will come up during this year’s Alabama legislative session will be addressed locally next week during a public meeting hosted by Winston County’s team of state legislators.

Boyles crowned Leo's Loveliest

HALEYVILLE - Haleyville High School Senior Ann Marie Boyles was crowned the senior division Leo's Loveliest during the 45th annual contest Saturday, Feb. 26.  Rounding out the top 5 were Shamekia Desiderio, first alternate; Kirsten Stevens, second alternate; Averie Elkins, third alternate and Hadley Smith, fourth alternate.
