DOUBLE SPRINGS - A new era began for the Winston County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday, Jan. 10, as Caleb Snoddy took the oath of office in a special ceremony.

Dr. Ray Boshell is sworn in to the Haleyville City Council by Haleyville Municipal Judge Jonathan Lowe as Dr. Boshell's wife, Dr. Amy Boshell, holds the Bible.

HALEYVILLE - Dr. Ray Boshell was appointed to the Haleyville City Council for Place 4 during a swearing-in ceremony Monday, Oct. 27.
Boshell, who served as Haleyville's mayor from 1996-2000, is filling the seat vacated by Jonathan Bennett, who resigned after moving outside the Haleyville city limits.
