BEAR CREEK -Chris Gillum, a veteran of the Bear Creek Town Council, has returned to begin his fourth term, filling the place 4 seat recently vacated by the resignation of Chris Hyde.

Haughton sworn in to Haleyville School Board

HALEYVILLE - After a year of being vacant, the place 2 seat of the Haleyville Board of Education was officially filled, when Boo Haughton was sworn into office, during a special-called meeting early Monday morning.

Misner appointed to Bear Creek Council

Dr. Ray Boshell appointed to Haleyville City Council


Dr. Ray Boshell is sworn in to the Haleyville City Council by Haleyville Municipal Judge Jonathan Lowe as Dr. Boshell's wife, Dr. Amy Boshell, holds the Bible.

HALEYVILLE - Dr. Ray Boshell was appointed to the Haleyville City Council for Place 4 during a swearing-in ceremony Monday, Oct. 27.
Boshell, who served as Haleyville's mayor from 1996-2000, is filling the seat vacated by Jonathan Bennett, who resigned after moving outside the Haleyville city limits.
