REFORM - They say defense wins championships. If that’s the case, then the Pickens County Tornadoes have a great chance at making an appearance in their third straight state title game and their fourth in six years. The Tornadoes defeated Lynn 61-16 in a 1A Region 6 contest. The first quarter of action only saw one score claimed by the Pickens County defense when Lynn fumble was picked up and returned for 35 yards for a touchdown. After a failed extra point, the Tornadoes claimed an early 6-0 lead with 11:02 to play in the opening quarter.
