Sadie Tittle didn't feel much like getting out on Tuesday, tallying four hits and leading Lynn Lady Bears to a 21-3 win over Brilliant. Tittle singled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the fifth and singled in the fifth.
Lynn secured the victory thanks to 12 runs in the fifth inning. The big inning was thanks to singles by Tittle, Breanna Barton, Jerica Anderson, Tittle, and Barton, an error on a ball put in play by Kendra Hannah and Ashley Aldridge, by Anderson and a fielder's choice by Jessica Fry.
LHS got on the board in the first inning when Tittle singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
The Lady Bears notched 12 runs in the fifth inning. Anderson, Tittle, Barton, Hannah, Fry and Anderson all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
Barton was the winning pitcher for Lynn. She went five innings, allowing three runs on three hits and striking out eight.
Guyton took the loss for Brilliant. She surrendered 21 runs on 13 hits over five innings, striking out two.
Lynn totaled 13 hits. Tittle, Barton and Anderson each collected multiple hits for Lynn Bears Varsity. Tittle went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead Lynn Bears Varsity in hits.
Tidwell led Brilliant with three hits in three at bats.
