Garrett throws shutout against Deshler

HALEYVILLE - Kaleb Garrett didn't allow a single run as Haleyville Lions junior varsity defeated Deshler 6-0 on Saturday, Feb. 22, at HHS. Garrett allowed just one hit.
Haleyville pulled off the big victory without ever scoring many runs in an inning. The most they scored was two in the fourth.
The junior varsity got things started in the first inning when Brody Gravitt singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.
Garrett was credited with the victory for Haleyville. He surrendered zero runs on one hit over five innings, striking out nine.

Five RBI day for Gavin West benefits in Haleyville Lions JV's victory over Hamilton

Gavin West was bad news for opposing pitchers on Monday, April 15, driving in five on three hits to lead Haleyville Lions junior varsity past Hamilton 15-8. West drove in runs on a single in the first, a double in the second, and a single in the third.

Bats blistered as Haleyville collected nine hits and Hamilton tallied five in the high-scoring game.

Two Haleyville Lions JV pitchers combine to shutout Fayette County

FAYETTE - Haleyville Lions junior varsity baseball team defeated Fayette County 9-0 on Wednesday, April 10, in Fayette. Two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Camden Smith was the winning pitcher for Haleyville. He lasted two innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out one. Garrett threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
