ARLEY - The countdown is on for one of the biggest and best festivals in Winston County. The 52nd annual Arley Day will take place Saturday, May 17, at Hamner Park, located on Helicon Road.
ARLEY - An employment opportunity is available in Arley through NACOLG's Senior Employment Program. On April 3, the Arley Town Council voted to hire “a senior aid” to work in Hamner Park through the program. The position was posted on April 18. Participants in the program must be 55 or older and have an income of not more than $18,225 for a one-person household or $24,650 for a two-person household. Eligible individuals can pick up an application at Arley Town Hall. The deadline to apply is May 1.

ARLEY - There are more reasons to celebrate at the annual Arley Day festival than ever before.
This year, the festival, planned in its annual time slot of the third Saturday in May, or May 21, marks several changes. The biggest change is a major expansion of the festival itself, resulting in parking moved off site and visitors being shuttled back and forth to the festival located Hamner Park off County Road 77, organizers said.

ARLEY - Playground equipment can be a fun time for kids, whether at school or at a park. It is also a time for exercise. Currently, slides and swings are stationed at Hamner Park in Arley.
ARLEY - The Town of Arley has decided to construct a new pavilion at Hamner Park before the end of next summer, thanks to Resource Conservation & Development funds.
