HALEYVILLE - A fire in a camper on Eighth Street in south Haleyville Tuesday morning, Jan. 18, spread to a neighboring home, where it caused further damage.

HALEYVILLE - A structure fire off of Macedonia Road near Haleyville has resulted in the loss of a significant amount of farm equipment and hay bales, as well as spooked livestock on the farm.

HALEYVILLE   - A Haleyville man was transported to Huntsville Hospital late Wednesday night,  June 3, after being struck by a train while walking on the railroad tracks, authorities said.

HALEYVILLE - A fire at a storage facility behind the Imperial Inn motel caused the evacuation of 25 occupants during the early morning hours of Saturday April 4.

BEAR CREEK - The Alabama Fire Marshal is scheduled this week to begin an investigation into the cause of a fire that destroyed the home where a Bear Creek man had been living, resulting in the loss of all of his possessions.
