HALEYVILLE - A Haleyville man, who is formerly of Eufaula, was arrested within 24 hours after allegedly breaking into and stealing from a Haleyville business.
HALEYVILLE - A resident of a burning apartment at Carl Elliott Heights in Haleyville who jumped to safety has been charged with first degree arson and domestic violence first degree/assault after her roommate was seriously injured in the blaze, having to be rescued by firefighters.
WINSTON COUNTY - A Jasper woman wanted on numerous counts of fraud in Walker County after cashing or attempting to cash counterfeit checks from was nabbed in Winston County after committing similar acts in the Lynn area.

HALEYVILLE - Two Haleyville residents face drug trafficking and related charges after Haleyville Police discovered 15 pounds of marijuana, 60 edibles containing THC and a disassembled AR-15 assault rifle at a residence in Comeens Subdivision.

BLACK POND - A major drug distributor was taken off the streets after the Winston County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant, finding 1.4 grams of cocaine, 112 grams of methamphetamine and 2.9 grams of marijuana found.

ASHRIDGE - Two Haleyville men face murder charges in the death of 38-year-old Phillip Craig Miles, whose body was discovered by his daughter at his residence in the Ashridge area March 31.
Caleb Scott Farley has been arrested and charged with murder and arson first degree in the death of David Brian Hayes.
