Addison Bulldogs eliminate Meek 13-1 in Winston County Baseball Tournament

LYNN - The Addison Bulldogs baseball team easily did away with Meek 13-1 on Monday, April 15.
The Bulldogs got things started in the first inning. AHS scored two runs when Jake Wilson singled.
Addison notched five runs in the second inning. Hayden Lee, Wilson, Ty Tuggle, and Colten Tyree all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
Lee led the Bulldogs to victory on the mound. He allowed six hits and one run over five innings, striking out four.

The Lynn Bears became the Winston County baseball champions for the third straight year on Monday, April 15. LYNN - During the championship game of the Winston County Baseball Tournament, Monday, April 15, Addison’s Bulldogs fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 7-3 loss to Lynn.  Hosted at Lynn High School, the Bears scored on a walk by Riley Humphres in the first inning, a walk by Braden Cagle in the first inning, and a double by Chance Majors in the second inning.
Lynn fired up the offense in the first inning, when Dalton Gilbert was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.

Four RBI day for Whiteside aids in Lions win over Fayette County

John Whiteside gets to first base on a hit for the Lions. Whiteside drove in four RBIs on three hits.

HALEYVILLE - John Whiteside was clutch at the plate with ducks on the pond on Thursday, April 11, driving in four on three hits to lead Haleyville baseball past Fayette County 11-1 on Thursday. Whiteside drove in runs on a single in the second, a single in the third, and a single in the sixth.

Haleyville baseball ranked #8 in 4A in state, Lynn ranked #10 in 1A

HALEYVILLE - The Alabama Sports Writers Association has released the most recent rankings for baseball. Haleyville High School comes in at number 8 of the Top 10 in 4A. The Lions captured the 4A Area 11 championship with a 3-2 win over Fayette Wednesday, April 10. Lynn High School Bears is ranked 10th in 1A
