Haleyville Alumni luncheon tickets on sale

HALEYVILLE - The Haleyville Alumni Association has announced that tickets for the annual luncheon which is set for Saturday, June 7, at the Haleyville Elementary cafetorium,  are now on sale.  Tickets of $15 may be be purchased at Traditions Florist, BankFirst, Pinnacle Bank and First National Bank.  Very few tickets will be available at the door the day of the luncheon, organizers said. Also, applications are being accepted now for the Alumnus of the Year award, which is presented at the luncheon.

HALEYVILLE - The room filled with alumni gathered for the annual luncheon Saturday, June 1, erupted with applause, when Annita Lyons came forward to receive the Service and Dedication award on behalf of her husband Howie Lyons.

Wallace named Alumnus of the Year

HALEYVILLE - Henry Dana Wallace of the Haleyville High School class of 1978, celebrating 40 years, thanked not only his classmates but members of the class of 1968 for a special reason when he received the coveted Alumnus of the Year during annual alumni festivities Saturday, June 2.

The Haleyville Alumni Luncheon is quickly approaching. Here is a photo from the 2017 luncheon featuring the Haleyville High School Class of 1967, celebrating 50 years last year.
HALEYVILLE - Although the 50th anniversary of the nation’s first emergency 9-1-1 call will be drawing the largest ever crowd expected at the Haleyville 9-1-1 Festival the first weekend in June, other crowds will be gathering for the annual alumni activities.
