Downtown vandalized: merchants, tenants demand answers as police patrols increase

HALEYVILLE - Merchants and others along Main Street in downtown Haleyville are speaking out, requesting more action be taken after another incident of destruction of city property.

HALEYVILLE - Young readers were having fun at the pre-school story hour at the Haleyville Public Library on Thursday, Feb. 27, as they prepared for Dr. Seuss’ birthday this week. Snacks included strawberries and bananas with Yoo-Hoo to drink. The stories “Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You?” and “Fox in Socks” were read by Carla Waldrep, librarian.
